Social Media Policy

At Vitamae, we love connecting with our community across social media and we love hearing the great things you have to say about our products!

We are so grateful when you comment and tag your friends and family in our posts, but we kindly ask that you do not:

Endorse our product if you are:

  • a government or government authority
  • a hospital, or healthcare facility, other than a community pharmacy;
  • a current or former health practitioner, health professional or medical researcher;
  • a person who represents themselves as being qualified or trained to diagnose, treat or prevent disease, ailment, defect or injury in persons;
  • not using your own name on your social media platform
  • involved in the production, sale or marketing of our products

We also kindly ask that you do not make comments about how a product works for you outside of it's intended purpose. Our products are created for intended purposes as shown on the label and/or in our advertising.  

Our Obligations

We must also make sure any advertising we share about our products is not misleading. This includes testimonials and endorsements. We will disclose:

  • when a person has or will be, compensated for a testimonial they make
  • if a person making a testimonial is an immediate family member or employee of our business
  • when an actor has been used to advertise a testimonial as the person that made the testimonial does not want to appear in our advertisement

Please be aware that we will remove any comments or content that is misleading or breaches the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code.

Where you can find us

You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. These channels are managed by the Vitamae team and are updated regularly with education, product news, and community highlights.

Influencer & Partnership Disclosures

Any paid partnerships, gifted products, or sponsored content involving Vitamae will be clearly disclosed in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, ACCC guidelines and the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code.
